Keith Stone
A minute's silence was held at a meeting of Oxfordshire County Council today in memory of Keith Stone.
Mr Stone, 65, who was the county councillor for Carterton and chairman of West Oxfordshire District Council, died on April 21 after suffering a heart attack at a dinner in Witney.
County council chairman Liz Brighouse, who was at the St George's Day dinner, said his death had been an immense shock.
She added: "I will never ever forget Keith Stone and his quiet determination for the people of Carterton."
