A MOTORCYCLIST is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a lorry. The crash happened at 8.30pm on Monday, on the A361 just outside Wardington.

The rider, who has not been named but lives in Daventry, was taken to the Horton Hospital in Banbury.

A police spokesman said the man, aged 20, had head and internal injuries, and could lose an arm.

Firefighters had to release the motorcyclist who was trapped under the lorry. The road was closed until 2.17am today.
