BURGLARS posing as charity workers have targeted two elderly people.
Two women called at a home in Summerhill Road, Summertown, in Oxford, at 5.30pm last Tuesday telling an 88-year-old elderly woman they were from a charity arranging delivery of medication.
At 7pm the women knocked on the home of an 85-year-old man in Derwent Avenue, in Headington, claiming they had to install hand rails and fans.
They managed to get into both homes but nothing was stolen.
One woman is described as dark-skinned, possibly mixed race, in her early 20s, about 5ft 6in tall with long, dark, straight hair.
The second woman is white, in her mid-30s, about 5ft 5in tall with long, untidy, mousy hair.
