AN INQUEST into the death of an eight-month-old baby boy found dead in a flat by police is due to open today.
The baby was discovered in a flat in Agnes Court, Cowley, in Oxford, on Saturday, June 9.
Police had visited the flat after an emergency call and a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and child neglect and remains on police bail.
A post-mortem investigation last week into the cause of the death proved inconclusive.
No formal identification of the body has taken place.
