RUGBY League players have paid tribute to physiotherapist Jacqueline Scott who died in a road accident on her way to a match.
The 44-year-old, of Lilac Way, Carterton, was killed when her motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car in Brize Norton Road, near Minster Lovell, on Saturday, June 9. Miss Scott was on her way to the Oxford Cavaliers' game against the Coventry Bears when the incident occurred.
Yesterday, at Marston Ferry Road, the Cavaliers held a minute's silence in her memory before their match against Burntwood Barbarians.
Cavaliers' spokesman Chris Blackstone said: "It meant a lot to the players and everybody involved in the club."
The Cavaliers lost 30-16 in the Co-operative Conference league game.
