A man from Oxfordshire has died after a fall on a mountain in Snowdonia.
The 32-year-old was with his wife and was thought to be coming down the east face of Tryfan, in the Ogwen Valley, at about 7pm on Saturday.
North Wales Police said it was believed the couple became disorientated in cloud and the man slipped and fell about 25ft.
The couple are understood to be from Oxfordshire, said Insp Ian Maxwell.
He added that the man's family had been informed and were travelling to North Wales. The victim's name has not been released.
An investigation is under way but Mr Maxwell added: "There is nothing to suggest that there were any suspicious circumstances."
