Oxfordshire escaped the worst of the torrential weather problems that hit Britain yesterday, according to firefighters.
Despite torrential rainfall in parts of North Oxfordshire, emergency services said the county had missed the brunt of the bad weather.
The forecast for the weekend shows Saturday will be mostly cloudy and raining with a maximum temperature of 18 C.
Sunday will see an improvement with mostly sunny spells with some clouds and the temperature rising to 19 C.
