This week's discounted case is a selection of three rosé wines and nine reds. Each has been carefully chosen with the barbecue season in mind.

The mixed BBQ case costs £64 and contains three bottles each of:

Rosé Syrah/Cinsault, Les Celliers du Prieure 2005, France: Just off dry but not sweet, this refreshing and crisp rosé has fine fruit salad and cherry flavours with a subtle hint of spice and is a great match for barbecued chicken, pork and seafood.

Rio Alto Merlot 2006, Chile: Made from fruit grown in the Aconcagua Valley, this smooth-bodied wine shows why Chilean merlot is so popular. Red berry fruit and a touch of spice mingle to produce a highly drinkable and enjoyable match for any grilled meats.

Solora Shiraz 2004, Australia: Made by famous winemaker Sid Siddons from cool climate West Australian fruit, this crisp and spicy shiraz has flavours of eucalyptus and vanilla with a nice twist of woodsmoke that compliments barbecued food perfectly.

Cotes du Ventoux Domaine du Vieux Lazeret 2006, France: What more classic combination than wines from the Rhône Valley and barbecued food? Spice from the grenache grape mingles with dark, rich redcurrant fruit to produce a really tasty wine that is wonderful with grilled meats and mushrooms.
