WILDLIFE needs you is the message going out from the RSPB, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
Local volunteer co-ordinator Edward Little said: "We are looking for volunteers to support the RSPB's work in Wallingford, Didcot, Wantage, Grove and surrounding villages.
"We would work as a dedicated team raising funds for conservation and duties would be tailored to fit around the volunteers."
He said a successful scheme is the society's bird badge scheme which has raised more than £104,000 in the central region in the last year.
East Hendred stores and Ardington post office and stores stock the badges and between them have raised more than £250.
