A PERSON has died after being hit by a train between Didcot Parkway and Reading.
Great Western Rail said services may be cancelled or delayed by up to an hour as a result of the incident.
They added the main lines at the railway stations were back in operation.
A British Transport Police spokeswoman said the person was struck by a train at Tilehurst station.
She added: "Police were alerted just after midday.
"Officers are currently on scene alongside local ambulance however a person has sadly been pronounced dead.
"We are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
