A FUNDRAISING dinner is being hosted by Vale of White Horse District Council chairman Mike Badcock.
The district councillor for Abingdon Caldecott is inviting people to attend the dinner at Dalton Barracks in Abingdon on Friday, September 30, to raise funds for his chosen charities.
Money will be raised for the Amber Phillpott Trust and the Abingdon branch of Riding for the Disabled.
The trust raises funds for research into childhood leukaemia following Amber's death aged 18 months from acute myeloid leukaemia in 2011.
The dinner includes a three-course meal with wine, live music, a prize draw and an auction.
Tickets cost £47.40 each and all profits raised at the event will be donated to the charities.
