I HOPE the local coverage following the tragic death of Colin Taylor, managing director of Oxford City FC, will help bring the people of Oxford and surrounding areas to realise what a great organisation it is.
The club has numerous teams from under six’s to the youth league. Every Sunday in all weather the pitches are packed with children, parents and grandparents enjoying the community spirit (and the football!).
The club also offers the facilities for other sports including netball.
The development of Oxford City Casuals (designed for the purpose of disabled children and adults) has been a major success.
A lot of people give up their own time to to make the club what it is. So come on Oxford it’s time to realise that Oxford United aren’t the only local Football Club and City need your support (this of course also applies to local press).
