Three women have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a 43-year-old man was attacked in a churchyard.
Thames Valley Police said the victim was in St Mary's Churchyard in Banbury on Tuesday July 19 at about 8.15pm when he was attacked by three women.
He fell to the ground and suffered injuries to his face and arm.
He was taken to the Horton Hospital in Banbury for treatment and has since been discharged.
Cash was stolen but it is not known how much.
The three women arrested, aged 32, 33 and 34, have been bailed until August 12.
