A giant Alice and a roaming Queen of Hearts have been enjoyed by hundreds of people in Oxford today.
The annual celebration of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' has created a buzz around the city.
Spanish company Teatre NU wowed scores of Alice fans as a giant Alice meandered throught Radcliffe Square.
Co-director of the Story Museum, Tish Francis, said: "It's great to see so many people here, it's become an annual event in people's diary which is amazing.
"The 150th anniversary last year was huge and it seems it has stuck with people.
"There are lots of Alice fans out there and many of them have dressed up as Mad Hatters or Alices or Rabbits and it's a really good atmosphere."
The Queen of Hearts has been majestically swanning through the city's streets since 11am to the amusements of youngsters and adults alike.
The festivities will continue throughout the day at the Story Museum, the Pitt Rivers Museum and in Broad Street.
Spanish company Teatre Nu will be presenting an interactive street performance retelling the story with the help of a giant Alice in Radcliffe Square.
