Two burglars took £2,500 worth of goods from a house in Headington, Oxford.
Kieron Durrant, 19, of Mather Road, Barton, and Liam Bayat, 20, of Leiden Road, Headington, had initially denied burgling the Barton Road house in September, but later admitted the crime.
Oxford Crown Court heard that both men had previous convictions for burglary and Bayat was subject to a nine-month sentence, suspended for 12 months.
Judge Julian Hall activated Bayat's suspended sentence and added a 12-month sentence for the burglary. He gave Durrant a 10-month sentence, suspended for two years.
