A STEAK restaurant on the outskirts of Cowley is hoping to entice new customers - and draft in new staff - following a £500,000 refurbishment.
The Longwall Beefeater restaurant off has undergone a drastic makeover in just three weeks. The interior has been redecorated, with booth seating for large groups inside, a new bar area and a modern design.
An updated menu including a 'Salt Beef Board' and sticky duck wings is on offer to those who make the journey to Garsington Road.
It also now offers unlimited skinny or triple-cooked chips with a number of main meals.
A total of 15 new jobs have been created by the move, with nine new full-time staff and six part-time across the kitchen, bar and front of house.
Susan Rae, general manager of Longwall Beefeater, said: "All these great changes make Beefeater more inviting and we’re proud to reopen our doors.
"We have spent a lot of time working on the presentation of the new look to give our guests the 'wow' factor.
"We are confident our guests will enjoy the changes as much as we do and friends and families can make the most of their time here. It’s still their Beefeater but with a modern twist."
