DIFFERENT faiths are joining together tonight for a 'friendship' walk.
It will start at the Oxford Jewish Centre, in Richmond Road, Jericho, at 6.30pm and will proceed to the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, in High Street, before finishing at 8pm at the Central Oxford Mosque, in Manzil Way, East Oxford. Prayers will be held at each location with a buffet afterwards.
The event is supported by the Oxford Jewish Congregation, the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, the Central Oxford Mosque, the Madina Mosque in Stanley Road, the Quaker Society, Wesley Memorial Church, St Colomba's United Reformed Church and Oxford City Council.
Patrons include the Bishop of Dorchester, Imam Munir, Rabbi Norman Solomon, the Lord Mayor of Oxford, John Tanner, and the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Hugo Brunner.
