Staff at engineering company Wirth Research are celebrating after designing a chassis system used by a team in the US Le Mans motorsport series.
The firm, based at Cherwell Innovation Centre, Upper Heyford, said the design helped the Acura Motorsports team secure a class win at the Sebring 12-hour race, two overall pole positions and two podium finishes in the first four races of the season.
Centre operations manager Gill Cleaver said: "Wirth Research is a great example of the kind of innovative companies that grow and succeed in Cherwell Innovation Centre and we wish them continuing success in the future."
