A D-Day memorial service is being held to honour the American servicemen based in an Oxfordshire village during the Second World War.
Men from the 55th Medical Battalion were temporarily based in the grounds of North Aston Hall before D-Day.
A service in their honour will take place in St Mary's Church, North Aston, at 11am next Wednesday, June 6.
The organisers hope that surviving servicemen and relatives will attend.
