POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was held against her will by two men then driven around Oxford.
The 22-year-old, who has not been named, was offered a lift in a car with two men outside the Port Mahon pub in St Clement's, Oxford, at about midnight on Sunday.
But, instead of taking her home, the men drove her around for an hour-and-a-half before finally letting her out in Divinity Road, East Oxford.
The woman told police she remembers being taken to the Green Road roundabout in Headington and the Kassam Stadium before being freed.
It is not believed she was harmed or injured.
DS Simon Steel said: "This was obviously a very worrying experience for the victim. I would urge people to always think twice before getting into a car with strangers.
"I would like to hear from anyone that may have witnessed her being picked up in St Clements Street or dropped off in Divinity Road.
"I would also like to hear from anyone else who may have any information about a car acting suspiciously in the area."
The two men are described as Asian, around 18-years-old, with short black hair.
They were clean shaven, wearing casual clothes and believed to be driving a small three-door car.
The 22-year-old woman is white, 5ft 5ins, a slim build with long dark hair and was wearing a black coat, black leggings. She had no shoes on.
