Women from Bicester ditched their work clothes and decorated their bras to complete a moonlit marathon past some of London's most famous landmarks.
A team of competitors from accountancy firm Baxter Payne and Haigh were among those taking part in the Playtex MoonWalk.
Angie Bostock, 45, of Merganser Drive, and her colleagues Rachael Burgess, Sharon Gordon, Rebecca King and Vikki Leech, joined thousands of women to walk the 26.2 miles. The women raised about £700 for Walk the Walk, which supports breast cancer research. Ms Bostock said: "The first 13 miles were the hardest. It got easier when daylight began to break."
Bicester optician Sarah Marshall, also took part in the event.
Miss Marshall, 37, Specsavers store director, ran the Edinburgh marathon last year - but said the MoonWalk was even tougher.
She said: "It was really difficult because it was so cold. It was really hard staying awake at night."
