SNOW was definitely falling in one area of Oxford as children and adults flocked to a "Frozen" themed day at the city's story museum.
Holly Mitlehner and her daughter Persephone, three, went along to the Pembroke Street museum and said they had an "absolutely fabulous" time.
Mrs Mitlehner, who lives in Wallingford with Persephone and husband Alex, said: "We thought we would only stay a couple of hours but then we got there at 11am and didn't leave until 3.30pm.
"It was a really lovely day out. It's like a little Aladdin's cave. There was Grannie Annie on this big patchwork quilt reading the children winter stories, a Narnia room where you could go through the wardrobe, through the fur coats and then out onto the snow. And there was a Frozen sing-a-long as well."
Disney's Frozen came to cinemas at the end of 2013. The film tells the story of a kingdom trapped in winter, with Princess Anna and mountaineer Kristoff searching to find Snow Queen Else to break the icy spell.
Mrs Mitlehner added: "Persephone loved the lady dressed as Elsa, who was at the museum. She thought she was the real thing and kept asking where she was and wanted to give her a hug. She's just been buzzing."
