SNOW is forecast to fall in Oxford and other areas in the county as temperatures across the region look set to plummet.
The Met Office has issued a yellow "severe" weather warning for snow and ice from today until Sunday morning.
Temperatures could feel like -3C in some areas of the city, with showers of snow and sleet expected tonight and into the early hours of tomorrow.
Clouds are expected to thicken during the evening with outbreaks of sleet or snow falling after midnight.
Between 1 and 3cm of snow has been predicted to fall.
Tomorrow will see a frosty start, with more snow and sleet forecast throughout the day.
The Met Office has also issued a severe warning of ice on untreated roads and footpaths.
Drivers are urged to take care in the conditions.
