Fire engines rushed to Stanford in the Vale after bin lorry catches fire
A bin lorry was emptied out into the street by firefighters in Stanford in the Vale today after catching fire.
Two fire engines and officers were called to the scene in Cottage Road at 1.17pm.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue crew manager Mark Oddi said: "There was a fire in the roof part of the vehicle.
"Crews managed to get the lid to tip into the road to rake it and put it out."
