PUPILS at a school near Thame got the chance to find out what life is like on the front line for emergency services staff.
More than 150 youngsters from Great Milton Primary School, at The Green, welcomed police, firefighters and paramedics on Tuesday.
Among children taking part was William Grice, 10, who got a close look at Thames Valley Police’s protective gear including a helmet and shield.
He said: “It was an interesting and fun way of finding out about the emergency services and how to keep safe.”
The event was organised by the school’s assistant headteacher Emma Charnock.
