Shopping and parking experiences compared
IN RESPONSE to Bernadette Downes (August 21), I only compared the shopping and parking experiences of Oxford with Reading, Swindon and Southampton – not on whether they were more beautiful than Oxford, on that I will agree.
In regards to the American tourist who floored her with his stupid comment, I hope she got up and dusted herself down and, using the Marquis of Queensbury’s rules, used the old one-two and stuck a right-hander on him and told him to pack his bags and get out.
