An application for up to 40 houses to be built in Steventon Road will be put to councillors tomorrow amid objections.
The outline plan proposes the houses to be built on a 1.84 hectare site in East Hanney which includes a new site for Steventon Plant Nurseries.
Objections have been raised from East Hanney Parish Council and 30 local residents.
Their concerns include traffic congestion, impact on natural wildlife including bees and the loss of the character of the village.
The plans will be put to Vale of White Horse District Council committee at 6.30pm at The Beacon in Wantage.
