The Oxford Times was last night named regional weekly newspaper of the year in the 2007 Newspaper Awards - completing a unique hat-trick of awards.
The award, made at the Park Lane Hilton in London, is the third major award won by the newspaper in the last six months.
At the end of last year, The Oxford Times was named weekly newspaper of the year in the Newspaper Society awards. In February the newspaper won the Newsquest weekly newspaper of the year award.
At last night's awards, our monthly magazine Oxfordshire Limited Edition also won regional colour supplement of the year for the third year in a row.
Of The Oxford Times, the judges said the newspaper was "an impressive package and a great product for the money". They also praised its contemporary design.
Oxfordshire Limited Edition, they said, was the winner by a large margin, praising its "style and striking images".
