Aron Gibson, 34, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to property valued less than £5,000 when he damaged a bedroom wall in Paradise Street on July 4. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court without reasonable excuse on July 20. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge.

Richard Stewart, 31, of no fixed address, admitted stealing £15 worth of stationery from Tesco in Bicester on July 24. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £150 courts charge.

Jay Chaston, 26, of Sandford Road, Littlemore, admitted assaulting three women by beating them in Sandford Road on April 13. Also convicted of committing a further offence whilst subject to a nine-month conditional discharge imposed on March 3. Ordered to pay £225 compensation, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

Leon Hunt, 24, of Peregrine Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Kersington Crescent, Oxford, on June 24. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge. Cannabis forfeited and destroyed.

Anthony Joyce, 28, of Redbridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be harassed, alarmed or distressed by it in Cromwell Street, Oxford, on June 20. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Zena Parkinson, 30, of Stone Meadow, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis resin, a Class B drug, in Abingdon Police Station, Abingdon, on July 2. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge. Cannabis destroyed.

Amelia Whitlock, 29, of Foresters Tower, Wood Farm Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on July 1. Made subject of a community order requiring her to undertake alcohol dependency treatment for six months. Ordered to pay £60 compensation, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Sarah Brown, 40, of Abbott Road, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Cockroft Road, Didcot, on June 24. Had 114 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. Made subject of a community order requiring her to undertake alcohol dependency treatment for six months. Ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving for 24 months from July 10.

Simon White, 36, of Moorbank, Blackbird Leys, admitted stealing a freeview box and a miniature speaker worth £129.98, which belonged to Maplins in Banbury, on May 2. Given a 23-week prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to undertake drug rehabilitation treatment for six months. Ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge.

BANBURY

George Smith, 63, of Henley Avenue, Oxford, admitted running G’s Wine Bar in Bicester from 2.15am to 3am without the correct licence on February 13. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Hayley Stout, 27, of Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, admitted stealing meat worth £12.85 from the Co-op in Buckingham Road, Bicester on April 18. Given an absolute discharge on the grounds she “stayed out of trouble for quite a while, spent 18 hours in custody, left a nine-month-old baby for that amount of time and is pregnant again, and stole to feed her starving family”.

Julie Austin, 44, of Market End Way, Bicester, admitted stealing £29 worth of food from Sainsbury’s in Bicester on June 24. Given an absolute discharge because she was “not at the matrimonial home so did not get the summons; after 20 years of marriage her husband threw her out of her matrimonial home; she was homeless and on benefit, and had traumatic stress after the breakdown of the marriage”.

Matthew England, 20, of Hoyle Close, Witney, admitted driving dangerously in Corn Street, Langdale, Station Lane and Ducklington Lane in Witney on May 9. Given a community order requiring 200 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving or holding a driving licence for 15 months.

Paul Wyeth, 34, of Shackleton Close, Bicester, admitted stealing two Karcher pressure washers, a Henry vacuum cleaner and a telephone, worth a total of £459.96, from Homebase in Bicester on February 16. Also admitted stealing a Karcher pressure washer worth £120 from the same shop on February 20, and stealing a £99 lawnmower from Wilko Stores in Bicester on the same day.

Sent to prison for a total of eight weeks and ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Brodie Lewis, 25, of Sibford Gower, Banbury, admitted drink driving in Bridge Street, Banbury, on March 13. Had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £280 and ordered to pay a £28 victim surcharge and £200 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 14 months.

Scott Fuller, 31, of Dashwood Court, Banbury, admitted assaulting a man causing actual bodily harm in Banbury on October 4. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and given a 12-month supervision order.

Also ordered to pay £250 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
