Thomas is a very bouncy 8 year old Old English Sheepdog. He came to us as a stray so we have an unknown background.
Thomas seems to have some basic training but his new owners will need to continue this in the new home.
He generally walks well on lead, although being a big dog he can get over excited so lead training is a must in the new home.
While he has been with us we have been introducing play to him, sometimes he is interested and other times he would rather cuddle!
Thomas will need new owners that have had experience with big breeds before. He has been used to getting his own way and so will need someone who will be firm but fair whilst training.
Thomas has lived most of his life as an entire male and so has lots of confidence. He could live with another dog but not one that would challenge him.
Old English Sheepdogs have high maintenance coats and Thomas is no exception! It will need regular attention as it can become matted quickly.
He could live with older children that are used to big breeds.
