The motorcyclist killed in a collision in West Oxfordshire was today named as Lawrence Gunter.
Mr Gunter, 59, who lived in Witney, died following a collision with a car outside Hill Top Garden Centre, on the B4022 Witney Road at Ramsden, shortly after 5pm on Saturday.
The male driver of the Renault involved in the accident was uninjured. No-one has been arrested for any motoring offences.
John Prové, the owner of the garden centre, said that the accident had happened close to the entrance of the garden centre, in a dip at the bottom of a hill. He has collected a 1,000-name petition from residents calling for new safety measures there.
