ON MARCH 18 there was a letter printed in the Oxford Mail by the redoubtable letter writer John Tanner.

In it he claimed most people in Oxford West and Abingdon did not want Nicola Blackwood voted back in and that Liberal Democrat candidate Layla Moran could not win. He said only Labour’s Sally Copley could win.

Though I’m no big fan of the Tory policies, I cannot help thinking that he is, once again, way off the mark with his general comments and the view about Nicola Blackwood “struggling to hold on to her position” following the recent General Election...
