Traffic queues after car blaze on A40
A car fire caused queuing traffic on the A40 westbound between Burford and Witney yesterday afternoon.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service was called to the fire at 4.02pm, put out at about 4.30pm.
One lane was blocked by the car and the fire service but was reopened by 5pm.
There was congestion on the A40 and B4477 at the end of the dual carriageway at the Asthall roundabout.
