A laboratory had to be evacuated after a chemical leak last night.
Students at the Clarendon Laboratory in Parks Road noticed a noxious smell at about 10pm and the building was evacuated.
Fire crews from Oxford City station, along with a specialist Hazardous Decontamination Unit and specialist officers, attended the scene.
Crew Manager Ben Bishop from Rewley Road fire station said: "We are well versed with the hazards posed by this type of incident and conduct regular visits to ensure our information and plans are kept up-to-date and practiced.
