The creation of a brand new ‘BioEscalator’ at Oxford University’s Old Road campus is due to be discussed today by Oxford City Council.
Its East Area Planning Committee will meet from 6pm at Oxford Town Hall to discuss plans for the new Headington facility.
The BioEscalator would be a hub for biomedical and biotech research, featuring a mixture of laboratories and office space.
It would require a new building and a temporary 100-space car park.
