Spirits were high as the RAF celebrated the launch of a new two-day spectacular in London's Horseguards' Parade yesterday.
Spirit of Adventure - which is sponsored by the Oxford Mail - will be held at Abingdon Airfield on Saturday, May 26, and the following day.
Organisers described it as a unique combination of Hollywood blockbuster and a live and interactive airshow, offering visitors the chance to meet RAF crew and see cutting edge technology. The media launch was attended by RAF pilot and England rugby legend Rory Underwood.
