A MOTHER-of-three accused of murdering a man with severe learning disabilities wept as she described watching him being attacked.
Karen Fathers, 35, and three others deny murdering Sean Miles, 37, who was beaten and drowned in the River Thames.
Fathers, of Alice Smith Square in Littlemore, told Oxford Crown Court yesterday co-defendant Edward Doyle stabbed Mr Miles in the head.
Fathers sobbed as she said: "Eddie told Sean to strip naked then he said 'get your favourite toy from the cupboard' and he came back with a golf club and he (Doyle) beat him. I felt very scared. Sean was screaming, saying 'leave me alone' but Eddie wouldn't stop.
"Eddie said it was because he has to pay for what he has done when he went to the police and grassed him up."
Edward Doyle, 34, Terry McMaster, 24, and Tracey Fathers, 35, all from Alice Smith Square, also deny murder. The trial continues.
