A TEENAGE yob has been given an Asbo banning him from Oxford's Rose Hill estate.

Ricky Tremlett, 16, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, was served the antisocial behaviour order by Oxford magistrates.

Tremlett admitted antisocial behaviour, minor vehicle crime and being abusive to police on Rose Hill.

Peta Donaghy, CANAcT Team Manager said: "This ASBO comes as a result of CANAcT working closely with the police. It is a good example of agencies co-operating well to combat unacceptable behaviour."

Rose Hill's neighbourhood Sgt Graham Pink said: "Ricky was part of a group of youths who were making life very difficult for the residents of Rose Hill.

"We have been doing our all to bring this group to book for their intolerable behaviour.

"This is the second ASBO given out for the Rose Hill area and we will continue to target other troublemakers on the estate."
