Firefighters were called after a fire broke out in a drum full of lithium batteries at a recycling centre in Ewelme.
Appliances from Rewley Road, Watlington and Wallingford were called at 4.30pm on Monday to a fire in a 45-gallon drum of waste lithium batteries and a single camping gas cylinder at Grundon's Services, Goulds Grove, Ewelme.
The fire, the cause of which is not yet known, was allowed to burn under the supervision of the fire service.
