Tributes paid to THE Greene King ODDA is mourning the death of Shirley Lawrence.
Mrs Lawrence, who died last Thursday, played for the league's most successful team, The Shears, Wantage.
She was a strong player during the Shears' complete dominance over the last 12 years, winning more than 20 Premier League titles.
Mrs Lawrence (pictured) helped them to numerous Seevn-a-side Cup titles, and also won the ladies' doubles three times.
In the 1999-2000 season, she had the most wins in the Premier Section, helping the Shears to the Seven-a-side Cup and Three-a-side Cups.
ODDA spokesman Jim Baxendale said: "Shirley was a wonderful player and person, will be sadly missed by the local darts scene."
