TRAINS between Oxford and London Paddington were disrupted by a security alert caused by two plastic bags.
The 6.55am service was delayed until 7.50am and the 7.52am service was cancelled.
The 7.57am service and other trains later this morning were scheduled to depart on time.
A First Great Western spokesman said: “One of our train managers spotted some rubbish on the roof of a train and we had to wait for the police to come and take it off.
“It was just two plastic bags.
“Everything has returned to normal.”
