MOTORISTS in central Oxford are facing delays due to heavy congestion along Botley Road.
Traffic is queueing as far back as the Ashmolean Museum all the way to the junction with the A420.
The westbound carriageway of the A420 is currently shut between the A34 and Cumnor, with a diversion in place.
This is due to county council work on subsidence along the stretch of the road.
The work, which started last week, is expected to take eight weeks.
SERVICE UPDATE S1 approximately 40 mins late due to traffic. Apologies for this.
