POLICE have had a “limited” response to Monday’s appeal for more information about a murder 20 years ago.
Nasreen Akhtar, 29, was strangled at her home in Cobden Crescent, Grandpont, on March 30, 1995.
The mother-of-four was found dead by her two youngest children, aged eight and nine, when they came home from nearby school.
Police re-opened the investigation on Monday and spokeswoman Hannah Williams said: “While the response has been limited, the re-appeal is in its very early stages.”
