The jury in the Father Michael Wright trial was expected to start deciding today if the Oxford vicar sexually abused a boy.
Father Wright, the vicar of St Barnabas Church, in Jericho, denies six counts of a serious sexual offence and six of indecently assaulting a boy in Lewisham, south-east London in the 1970s.
The jury at Blackfriars Crown Court, London, was expected to retire today.
