Vale of White Horse Under 11s bowed out in the semi-finals of the County League six-a-side tournament at Woolton Hill Junior School, Newbury.
They finished runners-up in their group on goal difference behind Portsmouth B after winning four of their matches and drawing the other two. But then they lost 1-0 to Portsmouth A in the last four.
In their group games, Vale beat Newbury A 2-0, Swindon B 1-0, Gosport & Fareham 3-1, Chiltern & South Bucks B 2-0 and drew their two other games 0-0 against Newbury C and Portsmouth B.
Matthew Woodley was Vale's top scorer with five goals.
Vale B bowed out in the group stages after drawing five of their games and losing the other.
ST Birinus (Didcot) beat Fitzharrys (Abingdon) 1-0 in the final of the Vale of White Horse under 14 six-a-side tournament at King Alfred's, Wantage.
Jaike Winslow was on target with the only goal.
