POLICE are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl in Eynsham.
The victim was waiting at a bus stop in Acre End Street near to the junction of Merton Close, when a man approached her and exposed himself. He ran off when she called for help.
The incident happened at about 8.30pm on Tuesday.
The man was white, aged about 25, 5ft 11in tall, medium build, with short brown, mousey hair. He was wearing a blue Adidas hooded top and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
PC Edward Crofts, of Witney police station, said: "This incident has obviously left the young victim distressed and upset.
"Crimes of this nature are not always reported by the victim as they feel they are too minor to involve the police, therefore I would urge anyone who may have been a victim of this type of crime or who may have seen the offender hanging around the area to contact me urgently."
PC Crofts can be contacted at Witney Police Station via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively if you do not wish to speak to police and do not want to leave your name you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
