A CHARITY golf day is being held in May to raise money for the Oxford Children's Hospital.
The event, which is for teams of four, is taking place on Wednesday, May 2, at the Oxfordshire Golf Club, near Thame.
Co-operative corporate banking manager Steve Bateman, who organised the event, said: "It's a worthy local charity. I have got a six-year-old, who's fortunately fit and healthy. Any parent would feel moved by reading some of the stories about youngsters that have gone through the children's hospital."
