Two youths stole cash from a pensioner after conning their way into his home.
The pair called at the house of the 88-year-old man in Harcourt Green, Wantage, claiming they needed to check the water system.
The man was distracted by one youth, then noticed the other youth at the back of the house.
After they left, he realised money had been taken.
