Paramedics and fire crews were called to a collision between a car and a coach on the A40 in Oxford.
Initial reports said that two people were trapped following the accident shortly after 9.15am today.
Police were also called to the busy dual carriageway after drivers were delayed by the crash, between the Sandhills junction and the Green Road roundabout.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said no details were yet available on the extent of the drivers' injuries.
