Oxford journalist David Rose, who writes for the Observer, has been investigating wrongful convictions since the early 1980s. in Violation (HarperCollins, £16.99), he tells the story of Carlton Gary, who is on Death Row in Georgia, US, after being convicted of a brutal murder. The author is at the Oxford Literary Festival on Friday, March 23.
